*ITEM: JASON EMPIRE CLIPPER Model 7 x 35 Antique Early 1960's Binoculars Used
*MANUFACTURER: Jason Empire Company
*YEAR: 1962 thru 1965 era.
*MEASURES: Approx. 6 1/2" X 4 3/4"
*OPTICS: 7 x 35 - Field 578 ft @ 1000 yds. Vision is crystal clear with no blur. Vision adjusts properly with center eyepiece adjuster.
*CONDITION: These binoculars were used a lot and shows some wear. "Jason Clipper" binoculars were some of the best made for the time. The silver patches on the binoculars were factory affixed labels with text and through use have worn down with no more text showing.
*HISTORY: "Jason Empire" company was started in 1947. The company was sold to "Carson companies" in 1977. In 1992 "Jason Empire" was sold to "Bausch And Lomb (Bushnell)". In 1995 Bushnell, owner of "Jason Empire" was sold to "Worldwide Sports". Since then "Bushnell" has been sold again.
*FEATURES: Antique pair of binoculars manufactured by the original company.
