*ITEM: COPPER WATER KETTLE Kitchen Hearth Cooking Antique
*MANUFACTURER: There are no manufacturing marks on this piece and if there were they are worn off. The manufacturing marks may have been on the bottom and as can be seen in the picture the bottom of this coffee pot or water warmer was well used over a fire.
*YEAR: Unknown antique
*MEASURES: This coffee pot measures approx. 15 inches by 7 inches at its widest point.
*CONDITION: This is a heavy copper tea kettle or coffee pot that was used alot. The lid is missing the pivot pin. The bottom of the pot is a copper insert that was hand welded or sealed with something and the weld or seal is bad with spaces between the ring and insert. The bottom appears to be a reddish brown and this may be because of the pot being heated.

* Side seam is straight and not dovetailed. Some dovetailing at bottom
* The handle and bottom ring are heavy thick cast
* The body appears to be cast copper beaten around a form
