*ITEM: MILITARY SHOULDER PATCH 7th (Seventh) U.S. Army 'Pyramid Of Power" No Combat
*MANUFACTURER: U.S. Military through various unknown manufacturers.
*COLOR: Red, Dark Blue, School Bus Yellow and Black
*MEASURES: 4" X 3 3/4"
*CONDITION: Decent display condition. Some shuffle wear from over the years. Edges are good.
*USED: No. No stitch marks found and patch still has some stiffness.
*YEAR: The 7th Army was deactivated in 1946 then reactivated in 1950 but never saw any combat in the Korean or Vietnam wars. This patch most likely is from the Vietnam era when the 7th Army was statinoned in the U.S. training soldiers. Many of these large U.S. Army's were stationed in the U.S. to protect U.S. borders and train new soldiers for the Korean and Vietnam war conflicts. This patch came with patches that were verified to be in the Vietnam conflict. I acquired some period patches with the Vietnam patches.
Some WWII surplus most likely floated into the Korean and Vietnam wars but so many manufacturers were used at the same time there's no telling their manufactured time period even if the patches were verified by their original owners or purchased in a big lot of period patches like I have.
